Community Clean Up Day – Saturday, 11/17

Terrence Burnett has partnered with Hollywood Studio District Neighborhood Council (HSDNC) to organize a Community Cleanup Day!

Volunteers will be picking up trash in the streets to beautify the neighborhood, but there will also be fun! DJ Barney will be playing music, there will be prizes and more! This is a FREE event to give back to the community!

Office Administrator at a real estate company in Santa Monica by day and community activist by night, Terrence, a new LA transplant, said this Community Cleanup Day idea hit him when he was walking down the street with two friends and saw the streets littered with trash. He instantly knew he wanted to plan a cleanup.

“I contacted my Neighborhood Council (HSDNC) and they loved the idea. They have assisted me with some ideas and resources, and we are ready to clean up the neighborhood! Street cleanups are not uncommon, but we have added so many unique elements to our event. It’s almost like a block party for the public, but the end result will be cleaner streets!”
