Affected Streets: Hollywood Blvd. and Vermont Avenue, ending east of Highland Ave.
Time: Between the hours of 11:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M.
The Los Angeles Culture Festival is a celebration of our cultures and traditions. On Saturday, June 27th 2015, Hollywood Blvd. will miraculously transform into a Grand Carnival & Street Extravaganza. Parade-goers and masqueraders will be dressed in vibrant, breathtaking costumes dancing to pulsating rhythms of Calypso, Soca, Samba, Reggae, Zouke, Latin, Punta, Meringue, Mariachi, Reggaeton, Blues, Jazz, Steel Pan, Indian, Asian, African, Middle Eastern and other worldly music.
The parade will begin at the intersection of Hollywood Blvd. and Vermont Avenue and end east of Highland Ave. Between the hours of 11:00 A.M and 4:00 P.M. Throughout the entire parade a rolling Street closure will be in effect. The Boulevard will be closed temporary as the parade travels towards Highland Ave. The streets will re-open immediately as the parade passes each intersection. Traffic will be allowed to flow throughout the parade, both North and South bound, across Hollywood Boulevard.
Following the Parade, our celebration will continue into our Carnival Culture Village. The Carnival Culture village is located on 6831 Hawthorn Ave. And will feature food, arts & crafts, and live entertainment from around the world. We highly anticipate that this cultural fusion will attract a significant amount of local attendees and tourists from our diverse multi-cultural society. We are excited as we look forward to our 4th Annual Los Angeles Culture Festival.
